Around 576,000 children in England have an Education, Health and Care Plan, and every year more than 100,000 families receive a draft plan they have 15 days to respond to. Most families face that moment with no specialist knowledge, no advocate, and a document full of wording they have no way to evaluate.

Meanwhile, the same document work — spotting unenforceable wording, writing structured amendments — is available from human consultants at £250 to £1,400 per plan. That gap between what families need and what they can afford is why we exist.

Our approach

• Start from the law, not from opinions. Every citation in our output comes from a fixed list of official public sources: the Children and Families Act 2014, the SEND Regulations 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice 2015. The software cannot cite anything else.
• Privacy by design. The free check runs in your browser. Files aren't uploaded, names aren't needed, nothing is used for AI training, and everything auto-deletes.
• Reject weak ideas actively. If a draft is fine, we say so. If we can't help, we signpost the free charities that can.
• Information, not advice. We are explicit about the line between information and legal advice, everywhere.

The standard we check against

Section F is the council's legal duty (Children and Families Act 2014, s.42). The SEND Code of Practice expects provision to be detailed and quantified. Needs and provision should correspond. Outcomes should be measurable. Our entire product is a faithful, fast application of those public standards to your draft.
