Annual review companion
Every EHCP must be reviewed at least once a year (SEND Regulations 2014, reg. 18) — and every review is another chance to get the plan right.
Why reviews matter as much as drafts
A plan reviewed weakly stays wrong for another year. The review must seek your views and your child's, consider progress against each outcome, and ask whether anything in B–J needs changing. Families who arrive with a structured written contribution consistently get better outcomes than families who rely on the meeting alone.
What the companion will do
- Turn your notes into structured written parent views: progress against every outcome, what's working, what isn't.
- Check whether provision in Section F is actually being delivered as written — the most commonly missed review point.
- Draft amendment requests with the same specificity standards as our draft response letter.
- Produce a review-preparation document you can send before the meeting.
Status: coming soon. The annual review companion runs on the same engine as the draft checker and is the next product we are building. Existing customers will get it at a reduced price. Meanwhile, our guide on writing parent views covers the structure you can use today.
