Terms of use

Pre-launch review version — final terms to be confirmed by legal review before launch.

1. What we provide

EHCP Response provides information and software drafting tools relating to draft Education, Health and Care Plans in England. The free checker is provided as-is. The paid response package provides an analysis of the text you confirm and a template response letter for you to review, edit and decide whether to send.

2. Not legal advice

We are not a law firm, solicitors, advocates or a tribunal representation service. Our output is information and a drafting aid, based on public official sources (the Children and Families Act 2014, the SEND Regulations 2014, the SEND Code of Practice 2015 and official GOV.UK guidance). It is not legal advice and does not create a professional relationship. You remain responsible for reviewing anything you send.

3. No guaranteed outcomes

We do not guarantee that a council will accept any change, that a plan will be amended, or that any tribunal outcome will occur. Local authorities make their own decisions and you have separate appeal rights.

4. Your responsibility for accuracy

You confirm the text analysed and are responsible for checking the generated letter against your actual plan before sending. Do not send a letter you have not read.

5. Payment and refunds

The response package costs £39 (introductory price; standard £49). If you cannot use the letter, tell us within 14 days and we will refund you in full. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card details.

6. Data

See our privacy page. In short: minimised, auto-deleted within 30 days, never used for AI training.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; the version in force when you purchase applies to that purchase.
